Dr Shahadat Uddin is Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Sydney, Australia. He conducts research in complex networks, data science, machine learning and health informatics. Dr Uddin has published in several international and multi-disciplinary journals including Expert Systems with Applications, Physica A, Computational and Mathematical Organization Theory, Complexity, Statistics in Medicine, Nature Scientific Reports and Journal of Informetrics. Dr Uddin has been awarded many academic awards for his outstanding research excellence, including Campus Director Leadership Award (Central Queensland University 2006), Certificate for Research Excellence (The University of Sydney 2010) and Dean’s Research Award (The University of Sydney, 2014).
